As the ongoing Kogi Built Environments and Building Materials Exhibitions event eaters it’s second day, experts from the construction industry in Kogi State have heaps on the need for practitioners to ensure that they maintained professional standards in carrying out constructions activities under their supervision.
Speakers and stakeholders in the industry g charged participants of the ongoing exhibitions Program earlier today to adhere to professional Conducts and ethics. The event was held in lokoja to bring together producers of building materials and the end users together under one umbrella in order to ensure best global practice in the industry
The stakeholders who were drawn from the formal and informal sectors of the construction industry unanimously agreed to the fact that ethical principles, practices and standards must be strictly adhere to in carrying out any form of construction works at all times.
The exhibitions Programs draws prominent participants from cement blocks molders association, the tiller’s association and iron benders and welders associations in the state.
The annual Exhibitions Program was attended by reputable company as the West African Royal tiles company, DANGOTE cement factory Obajana and other companies and cooperations in the Building and construction industry within the state.
Equally Government ministry and agencies that have link with the construction industry participated actively in the exhibitions Program
Peak of the second day event was the administration by the lead Convener of BEBM Exhibitions Engineer Bayode Oladapo who charged practitioners to take advantage of the various support and assistance from the multinational corporation by coming together to form themselves into formidable associations through which they could assessed loans and grants to expand their small and medium scale businesses
