End SARS protests get’s over 4.5 million Tweets on Twitter over the previous week, Nigerian youth has marched in the streets in Nigeria and also social media sites, mainly Twitter, to pass off and voice their protests against the Special Anti Robbery Squad Police Unit, commonly known as SARS.

Over the years, individuals have reported SARS officers for extortion, abuse, brutalization, intimidation, and, in some cases, homicide.

 

Several young men and women, who used an iPhone, possessing a tablet, dying their hair, carrying dreadlocks, and many other things, have been abused for looking nice.

Nigerian youth has marched in the streets this time around to voice their grievances and using Twitter to drive the End SARS campaign. Twitter is used to post real-time updates about what’s occurring on the different grounds of protest, who shoots, who shares food, what protesters do, and other things.

 

During the last week, End SARS protests get’s over 4.5 million Tweets on Twitter, it has reached far and wide that international television stations such as CNN and international celebrities such as Trey Songz, Estelle, Wale, Big Sean, and many more have also tweeted about End SARS.
